Capgemini is seeking a senior director level executive to join its internal global IT organization as a Senior Design Authority leader within its Enterprise Architecture team.

This is a key leadership role reporting to our Head of Enterprise Architecture.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide leadership, oversight, and guidance for the design and architecture of complex systems, products, or projects.

The individual will play a critical role in ensuring that the design and architecture meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and efficiency.

This position involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Design Leadership:

Provide expert guidance and leadership in the design and architecture of complex systems, products, or projects.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement design strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Technical Expertise:

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to make informed design decisions.

Share knowledge and best practices with the team.

Team Management:

Lead and mentor a team of around 20 design and architecture professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate design-related risks and challenges to ensure successful project outcomes.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and enforce design standards, best practices, and quality control processes to maintain high-quality deliverables.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure that design and architecture align with project goals.

Budget and Resource Management:

Manage design-related budgets and allocate resources efficiently.

Documentation:

Ensure comprehensive documentation of design and architectural decisions, plans, and processes.

Compliance and Regulations:

Ensure that designs adhere to industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate:

The incumbent will have overall 15-20 years of experience in leading process design, operations, and/or architecture teams.

Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, architecture, computer science).

Proven experience in design leadership roles, with a track record of successful project outcomes.

Strong technical expertise in consulting/professional service's domain, including proficiency in design and architectural tools and methodologies.

Candidate must have experience in process definition and Process redefining for internal functions for IT service companies.

Ideal candidate should have more than 2-3 Business Functions experience HR, Finance, Procurement etc.

Knowledge of more than one end to end processes i.e., O2C, R2R, H2R, P2P, lead to cash.

Hands-on in process consulting, process architecture & designing.

Candidate's experience in process improvement using six sigma will not be adequate.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Leadership and team management experience, including the ability to mentor and motivate team members.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (if applicable).

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

Continuous learning and adaptability to stay current with evolving technologies and design trends.
